Classic World of Warcraft Season two of Discovery is upon us. On February 1, Wowhead gathered data on unique changes to cosmetics that could shake up PvP.

Data-mined PvP affixes remove all movement and CC-impeding effects from all classes. IN Classic WoW, Each class has its own PvP accessories and will only drop specific types of CC. For example, Warlock trinkets remove fear, charm, and polymorph, but do not stun, root, or slow, making them weak when facing Rogues. These trinkets can be purchased from PvP vendors in the capitals of Stormwind and Orgrimmar.

This change could make PvP a bit more dynamic as classes will have an easier time handling specs against them. Some may say this trivializes PvP, but that’s not the case. You must learn how to use these jewelry and find the correct timing. In PvP, it all comes down to timing cooldowns and using your kit to the best of your ability. This is just a small quality of life change that could make PvPing more competitive.

Keep in mind that this is just a datamined change, like the wheel device from the buffed dungeon; there’s no guarantee this will make it to the live version when phase two releases on February 8. Confirmed features are the Gnomeregan raid, the Blood Moon PvP event, and more Runes for all grades. Datafied content will only be confirmed when phase two goes live.
