watchOS 10.4 Beta 2 adds over 100 new emojis and Vision Pro features.

With watchOS 10.4 scheduled for release in early March, Apple is continuing its testing cycle with Beta 2. watchOS 10.3 was a minor update, but there are some exciting new features in this update that users should look forward to.

The first of them is as follows: Over 100 new emojis. The new figures include four new gender-neutral family emojis: Lime, Swinging Head, Phoenix, and Silhouette, but skin color modifiers and gender variants represent the majority of the new emotes. You can use it with iMessage and other messaging apps with your Apple Watch.

Additionally, watchOS 10.4 beta 2 adds new tweaks for Apple Vision Pro users. Now that both devices use the double tap gesture Ignore double tap These are the settings when using Apple’s spatial computers. Here’s how Apple describes the feature: “When this feature is turned on, double-tapping gestures will be temporarily ignored while using Vision Pro.”

For those who don’t know, pinching is how you control Apple Vision Pro, but double-tapping your finger also works this way to control the Apple Watch Series 9 and Apple Watch Ultra 2. Thankfully, owners of both newer Apple Watches no longer experience this issue with the Vision Pro.

watchOS 10.4 Beta 2 also brings: Siri improvements, you can now wake your personal assistant with just your name by saying “Siri” instead of “Hey Siri.” Moreover, Siri Read incoming messages in multiple languagesIncludes Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and more.

Lastly, if you’re interested in the little details, there’s an updated Timer UI.

Along with watchOS 10.4 beta 2, Apple is also seeding second test versions of iOS 17.4, iPadOS 17.4, macOS 14.4, and tvOS 17.4. BGR If I notice anything different about this build, I’ll let you know.
