Motorola launches another affordable smartwatch, Moto Watch 40

Not many Motorola users know that the US-based company has a pretty decent lineup of smartwatches. The new Moto Watch 40 is the latest smartwatch launched by Motorola in the US market. This is a very affordable wearable device that costs as much as a sophisticated fitness band.

Moto Watch 40 is available in Phantom Black and Rose Gold colors. Both color versions are available for just $65 through Motorola’s official website. Free shipping and a one-year warranty are also included.

Specs-wise, this is a pretty average smartwatch running Motorola’s homegrown Moto Watch OS. The Moto Watch 40 boasts a 1.57-inch LCD display and a compact 240Ah battery that promises 10 days of use.

The smartwatch is IP67 certified and has water resistance. It comes with accelerometer, SpO2, sleep and heart rate tracking. Although the case is made of zinc alloy, this smartwatch is limited to only Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and does not have built-in GPS.

According to Motorola, all your sleep data can also be synced with Google Fit. In fact, Moto Watch 40 is tightly integrated with Google Fit, so you can check your performance during your fitness workouts here.

Finally, those interested can customize their smartwatch by swapping out the straps. Motorola offers a variety of strap models in different colors sold separately through its official webstore.
