Moto Watch 40 Announced – News

February 7, 2024

Motorola is expanding its smartwatch portfolio with the Moto Watch 40. This is a slightly more compact version of the Moto Watch 70, which was launched in May last year along with the Moto Watch 200.

Moto Watch 40 features a curved 1.57-inch LCD with over 85 watch face options. The watch features a zinc alloy case, interchangeable silicone watch straps, and is IP67 rated. Moto Watch OS handles the software aspects, and the Watch 40 supports notifications, although it doesn’t have message reply or in-device calling features.

24/7 heart rate and SpO2 tracking, as well as sleep and stress monitoring, all support integration with Google Fit. The Watch 40 has a 240mAh battery, which Motorola claims can last up to 10 days on a single charge. Additionally, the bundled 2-pin magnetic charger allows for fast charging, taking just 25 minutes for a full charge.

The Moto Watch 40 is available in Phantom Black and Rose Gold colors and is priced at $65 on Motorola’s official website.
