Suicide Squad: Destroy the Justice League is a kind of Jekyll and Hyde game, with great moments weighed down by not-so-great features, resulting in a bit of a mess at times—but there’s still plenty to enjoy.

The cutscenes are by far the best part about Suicide Squad: Destroy the Justice League, with the casting choices for all the characters on point, with plenty of laugh out loud moments, it all makes for an enjoyable experience. There’s no shortage of dialogue as you complete missions in the overworld, but the campaign is too short.

In Rocksteady’s defense, the developer has more planned, with part one set to release in March alongside The Joker as a new playable character and a number of other additions, all of which mark the the beginning of a series of ongoing updates on a roadmap spanning 2024.

These updates may solve the biggest problem in Suicide Squad: Destroy the Justice League, it’s endgame content that feels very repetitive. Having said that, keeping players focused over the next month could be a significant challenge given the busy release schedule Rocksteady is competing against.

If you are wondering whether to buy or not Suicide Squad: Destroy the Justice League, My advice is to hold off for at least a month until season one comes out. This will give you more bang for your buck, but it may be worth waiting for a sale.
