CS2 Call to Arms update brings Arms Race, adds Kukri Knife, new carrying case, etc.

The beloved game mode Arms Race returns in a big way

One of Counter-Strike most loved mode, Arms racewas finally delivered CS2. The game mode allows players to fight for free on small maps, functioning just like the game mode CS GO version; kill and your weapons will swap. Cycle through the weapons until you reach the knife (or Zeus) and land the final blow for victory.

The Arms Race wouldn’t be an Arms Race without its iconic maps, and Valve has also moved on Luggage And Shoot ARRIVE CS2with the two joining the shoot immediately.

Besides the Arms Race, the February 6 update also introduces Kilowatt caseof CS2 first weapon case. Seventeen community-designed finishes have been included in the Kilowatt collection, including Counter-Strike First new knife in over five years, Kukri knife.

This long curved blade comes with a full set of classic knife finishes including Fade, Crimson Web, Slaughter, Case Hardened etc. and looks a bit like a cross between a Huntsman and a Falchion Knife.

Kilowatt case also included Counter-Strike First Zeus skin, Olympus. With the caricature of Zeus holding the thunderbolt and the lightning bolts, it’s one shocking added first ending to Zeus, which also received a bit of a buff with the February 6th update; Now Recharge and can be used again after 30 seconds.

As with the Kilowatt Case, the update includes 21 new stickers And six sets of musical instruments to your outfit and customization CS2 experience.

Arguably the biggest aesthetic change in A Call to Arms CS2 update is Custom sticker placement. You can now pick and choose where on the weapon you want to place your sticker. Twist, flip and place your favorite stickers wherever you want, but once they’re stuck, you’ll need to scrape them off for more.

Not only that, but you’re not limited to four stickers anymore: Valve does increased the total number of stickers on weapons to five. The real future is now.

As well as the Arms Race, new cases and custom sticker locations, Valve has made a number of gameplay improvements including change the network to counter the effects of the peeper’s advantage, audio editingAnd map update.

Arms race

  • Added Arms Race to available game modes.
  • Added “Baggage” and “Shooting” maps.

Weapon Finish – Kilowatt Shell

  • 17 community-designed weapon finishes and the Kukri Knife with its original finish is an exceptionally rare item
  • Fixed many bugs and tweaked existing interfaces


  • The Ambush Sticker Capsule is now available for purchase.
  • Added support for flexible sticker placement. Stickers can now be placed in user-specified positions and rotated when applied to weapons.
  • All weapons now support up to five stickers.
  • Added zoom feature during sticker placement to allow for more precise sticker application.
  • Various bug fixes and tweaks.


  • Makes Zeus reusable in all game modes after 30 seconds of recharging.
  • Added support for applying stickers and name tags to Zeus.
  • Adjusted Zeus’s first-person model position.
  • Added Zeus kill icon to destroy cards and report damage after the round.

Musical instrument set

  • NIGHTMODE Music Toolbox is available for purchase in standard and StatTrak editions.


  • The smoke now casts a shadow.
  • Smoke rendering and animations have been improved.

style play

  • Added “Refund All” button to the purchase menu.
  • Added setting to disable first-person bullet tracker.
  • Now silencers can always be reattached regardless of whether removing them is enabled or not.
  • Player ping is no longer blocked by invisible geometry.
  • Various adjustments for capturing secondary markers.
  • Fixed some cases where players could silently drop down vertical surfaces.
  • Improved smoothness when sliding along surfaces. Fixed an issue causing collisions between players to stutter.
  • To ensure page loading is correct at the start of a match, item changes are no longer allowed when searching Premier, Competitive or Wing.


  • Added option to select audio input device for VOIP from audio settings menu.
  • Added the option to change your microphone threshold (the minimum volume before we start transmitting audio) from the audio options menu, as well as measure your current microphone volume.
  • Added option to listen to your own microphone from the audio settings menu to hear your audio.
  • Replaces M249 fire sound effect.
  • Replaced the Zeus charger, the charger is not available and the sound effect is in the ready to charge state.
  • The clogging effect is further reduced.
  • Adjust the mixture slightly.
  • Fixed an issue where some player-centered sounds were perceived as coming from slightly behind the player.


  • Reduces the peep’s advantage in many cases.
  • The steady-state peeper’s advantage is reduced by 16 ms.
  • Also reduces the frequency of situations that lead to a huge peeps’ advantage due to excessive command queue depth.
  • Added cl_ticktiming console command to print a report analyzing various latency sources.
  • Added option to cache server updates and user commands in one or more packages. This can be used to address stuttering due to packet loss, but latency increases.

  • Added support for main menu and separate basemap settings test.
  • Added “Baggage” and “Inventory” as options to the main menu and item inspection basemap.
  • In-game group-only chats will now be prefixed with group (e.g. “[T]” or “[CT]”).
  • Added ‘XP Overload’ status given to players who have earned all of their normal XP. for the week (11,166 XP) and gain reduced XP gain.
  • The XP Overload status is attached to the player’s name in the scoreboard, main menu, death notifications, etc
  • XP Overload status is awarded for a minimum of one week.
  • Additional tiers of XP Overload status can be unlocked by earning all normal XP for multiple consecutive weeks.
  • Agents with unique end-game cheer animations now also have unique defeat animations. You can disable playing beat animations for local players in settings.
  • Added more prizes at the end of the match.


  • Range adjusted CS Ranks are allowed to group together in Premier matchmaking.
  • Fixed a case where high resolution mice would result in jerky mouse movements.
  • Added minor improvements to animations during demo playback.
  • Disabled rich presence updates when running Steam Client in tournament mode.



  • Fixed various gaps and adjusted grenade collisions to make grenade bounce more predictable.
  • Adjusted texture blending to improve player visibility.

  • Fixed some collisions causing unpredictable player movements.


  • Added collision to prevent bombs from becoming unreachable.
  • Adjusted some collisions to prevent going over ledges/pixels.
  • Fixed players getting stuck while traversing Middle Ramp by simplifying floor and wall geography.
  • Removed clip brush from Apartment to improve flash lineup.


  • Build in some collisions to prevent the bomb from getting stuck behind the barrel.
